Press Start to start the game and Restart Game for a new one. The 7 buttons on the Control Panel move your fire fighting team from one forest to another and your home base. You get to the fires by travelling old logging roads, but these roads have not been kept up so your team has to get used to the terrain early to be successful when the season is at its worst. Keep track of where each road takes you. The fire season is 100 days with the worst of it in the middle of the season. You can never win against forest fires, but you can have better or worse seasons with less forest damage. Good luck saving these beautiful forests. One note: when the team is at the home pass, the fighting fire button is just taking a day of rest.

Strategy This is a puzzle. The buttons on the panel have a very specific pattern. Learning this pattern is important to moving early to the forest when a fire has just begun and containing it before it begins raging.
