Press Start to start the game and Restart Game for a new one. The 10 buttons on the Control Panel move you to another city (by train), unless you wish to stay another day where you are. If you are back in a city, the same button takes you to the same city each time. It is best to remember these so you don't end up in a loop. In each city, you acquire hidden points. The narrative and family comments are clues to how many points you are getting. There are two cities with large amounts of bonus, because they are hard to get to within 21 days.

Strategy The best strategy is to find places you like and stay while you are having a good time and then try to find another city you enjoy. Since your vacation is only 21 days, remembering which trains not to take again will give you the best chance of finding cities you love. The hard to reach cities are in the south, so you need to get south to have a chance to visit them.
