This game is a little bit puzzle mixed in with a day dream. You may not have known exactly where Strasbourg was in Alsace as the region passed between France and Germany for several centuries, or where La Rochelle was while reading the Four Musketeers. There is a small amount of geography imbedded in this game. If it is at all popular variations will be developed using different countries, states, continents or areas. (The Holy Land, the Silk Road, the South Pacific). A modified version, that is more of a game is Escape From Russia, set in the 1930s during the Holodomor, which adds threat of being sent to the communist Gulags.
